Happy Diwali Guys!!!!
We wanted to do a bit of a twist on the usual Diwali outfits, yeah I know we could have worn a saree or a lehenga choli and called it a day but where is the fun in that 🙂 . Our outfits are more of a Mix and match with a basic. A basic black polo neck and a basic white shirt. Best part about these outfits is you can totally avoid the hassle of a Duppatta.
The black polo worked so well, especially since its gotten colder, I have got to admit this look was totally inspired by an outfit worn by Aditi Rao Hydari, loved it as soon as i saw it. and wanted to recreate it as soon as possible. Luckily I spotted this look because truth be told all i had in hand was a lehenga (the skirt).
I would have preferred the top to have been more form fitting but went with what I already had in my wardrobe, which was a slightly looser polo neck. Matched the gold on the lehenga with the necklace and a ring.
- Top: ZARA
- Lehenga: FABIHA
- Clutch: H & M
- Necklace: Amazon INDIA
For the second outfit, teamed the lehenga with a plain white shirt, accessorized it with heavy earrings. The skirt is self designed and love how the bright colors puts me in a festive mood. Teamed the outfit with jhuttis to complete the look. Silk lehengas are the most versatile clothing piece ever, this can also be styled with a tight fitting bodysuit and look very chic. Also, like I always say make some effort with your hair it makes any outfit look amazing, here I did my fav space buns and love how this whole look turned out. 🙂

A famous person once said “don’t burn a pataka, be One” 😁😁😋
