Kurtas are undoubtedly the most comfortable outfit of all times. When in doubt always throw on a kurta over jeans with cute jhumkas and you are sorted. Kurtas don’t need to be super boring, today the amount of options we have for kurtas is amazing. Today’s post is all about kurtas with a twist. I curated three outfit using kurtas that are not so quintessential. These outfits are super trendy and can be worn for casual outings and parties.

For the first outfit styled this super cool cotton off shoulder kurta from Myntra. I love anything off shoulder and I dint think twice before I picked this up. The colour and print are super subtle and the off shoulder detail had my heart the moment I saw this. I styled this kurta with white Fab India cotton trousers and my trusty white Jutiyas. You could also style this kurta with plazzos or a long cotton skirt to make it edgier. I accessorized using tiny green jhumkis and a bold purple lip.

The second outfit hands down is my most favorite one, give me all the uber chic princess feels 😛 I love floral prints for all round the year. They make outfits look happy and pretty 🙂 I got this Kurta from Jabong , the long slit detailing with full sleeves was an instant winner for me. It fits like a dream. I styled this with my Dorthy Perkin’s skinny jeans and my over-sized hoops. This outfit makes the boring kurta look a lot classier and chic. You could rock this with cotton pants as well and wear Jhumkas to give it a more Indian look. I love how these outfits can we instantly be styled as complete Indian outfits.

The final look is a beautiful cotton Anarkali I got from Westside stores. The detailing on this kurta was what made me got it. This Anarkali is a full length one I kept things simple styled it with a bindi and my fav Jhumkas. This outfit is perfect for a Sangeeth or Mehendi party. Its comfortable and when you make them twrils while dancing it will look all bollywood 😀

I absolutely loved styling these kurtas and was loved how each one of these outfits turned out. I hope you got some inspiration to make your bleh kurtas chic. 🙂 We share a lot of fun stuff on instagram @lechicdiaries, do follow us there. Thanks for all your love and support , seeya soon!! ğŸ™‚
