Mustard : Part I

I doubt any other color describes summer better than a yellow. I seemed to be gravitating to it in every store I go to until i realised  it was all i was wearing anymore and was beginning to look like one big giant egg yolk.

The yellow shade for this season is a mustard yellow. Found this 70’s inspired skirt that fits perfectly and had pockets, pockets people pockets (can’t specify enough about the pockets, its gold).

I’ve noticed how a solid skirt or pant or any bottoms for a matter of fact pair perfectly with a stripped top.Usually we take a safe bet and chose either a white or a black top, but i nudge you to try a stripped top instead. You’d be surprised at how well they pair.

Finished the look with a bomber jacket, chose a larger size than the usual for that trendy oversized look. These are everywhere, broke into the scene last winter and they don’t seemed to be going anywhere for now. Shweta and me will be doing a whole other post on styling bomber jackets soon. They give that casual edge to the otherwise more girly outfit. As for the shoes the ever so reliable white sneakers. I promise wont feature the white sneakers again, ok please don’t hold it against me if i do.

This look was a more casual everyday look, will be doing another post for a more edgier look with the same mustard skirt. Hope you’ll are having a great week.

P.s.: We have got a lot of requests to put up more posts, so will be doing two posts a week instead of just one.

Thank you for the love.xoxo
