Silk patiala pants, a head wrap, tons of silver jewelry and a vest. Always hoped i could be one of those people who could carry off that look. But this look comes with a certain ease and effortlessness. A certain je ne sais quoi.
Lets be real, i neither have the confidence nor the waist size to carry it off. I do admit it’s not an everyday versatile look either. So when I came across these silk trousers on Jabong, instantly loved them and mentally decided to recreate a more subdued look . They had a maroon pair as well, but with my current obsession with green this was a no-brainer for me.
Paired the pants with a basic black top, because the pants are loud enough and i basically need any reason to wear black :). The shrug again is one of my most favorite pieces, it has a black on black paisley print with tassels. Who doesn’t love a good tassel? For accessories i kept it simple with a gold clutch and gold earrings. Shoes, was going with my trusty kolhapuris but went with these pair of mules that i had gotten for a bargain.
I’m sure you will see more of these pants because i cant wait to experiment with a more ethnic look .
And in the end, all said and done don’t forget the bigger picture >> This little doll, mother of 3 that i met along the way.
